A University of Melbourne report, highlighted in The Courier today, further reveals the growing pressure that Ballarat doctors are facing under Malcolm Turnbull’s GP freeze.
The report revealing GPs are under growing pressure with a drop in job satisfaction under Malcolm Turnbull’s six-year Medicare freeze is further evidence of how our local health care system is hurting under this Government.
This Government is forcing GPs to do more and more with less and less – that’s why it needs to use next week’s Budget to drop its entire Medicare freeze from July 1.
The freeze is already forcing out of pocket costs up and bulk billing down – with Ballarat patients paying the price.
