An Albanese Labor Government will partner with the City of Parramatta and commit $8.5m million to progress the Hill Road Master Plan, including a much needed upgrade to the central spine of Wentworth Point.
Over the last ten years, Wentworth Point has transformed from an industrial zone into a growing residential hub with a population of almost 15,000.
Despite this growth, Hill Road remains unchanged from its industrial past.
By partnering with the City of Parramatta, an Albanese Labor Government will upgrade Hill Road, deliver more green public space, address flooding issues and make this thoroughfare safer for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
Importantly, this plan will enable the future integration of public transport as the Wentworth Point community continues to grow.
Residents of Wentworth Point deserve a road befitting their thriving community. Only Sally Sitou and an Albanese Labor Government will invest in turning Hills Road into a thriving boulevard safe for the whole community.

‘Labor’s infrastructure investments are about ensuring that local communities have the services, facilities and access that they deserve.
‘For too long, residents of Wentworth Point have been left to put up with a substandard road designed for an industrial centre, not for a growing community full of young families.
‘Sally Sitou has been an incredible advocate for this project, ensuring that an Albanese Labor Government will work with the City of Parramatta to deliver this vital upgrade for her local community.
Comments attributable to Sally Sitou, Labor Candidate for Reid
‘Everybody knows that something needs to be done about Hill Road at Wentworth Point.’
‘Wentworth Point is growing and growing, but the local infrastructure isn’t keeping up.
After nearly a decade in office, Scott Morrison and the Liberals have failed to deliver anything more than empty promises.
That’s why a Labor Government will upgrade this intersection to reduce traffic, improve pedestrian safety and invest in flood prevention.
‘This investment will deliver more greenspace and means less time in traffic and more time at home with your family.
‘Importantly, this road will be ready to grow with the community, even including more public transport as Wentworth Point continues to grow.
It’s all part of our plan to build a better future – for all.
