Health Minister Sussan Ley’s comments this afternoon that she’s ‘disappointed’ State Premiers did not accept Malcolm Turnbull’s plan for double taxation proves it is still on the table.
Minister Ley told Sky News this afternoon:
“I’m disappointed in the Premiers, I really am. It’s very easy for the Premiers to ask the Commonwealth to do their dirty work. “
“I’m really disappointed in the Premiers for not stepping up, for not accepting that having clear responsibility of funding is actually in the interests of every Australian.”

While Mr Turnbull was completely humiliated at COAG over his double taxation plan, it’s clear from these comments today he and his Cabinet Ministers still support it.
Meanwhile, patients will suffer, and emergency and elective surgery waiting times will worsen as a result of Malcolm Turnbull’s decision to rip almost $5 billion out of public hospitals over the next four years.
Malcolm Turnbull doesn’t care about what’s been happening to our patients waiting in emergency departments, he doesn’t care about patients languishing in waiting lists for elective surgery and he doesn’t care about our doctors and nurses trying to do the best they can with less resources
Only the election of a Labor Government will stop Malcolm Turnbull’s double taxation plan that will put up your taxes and cut schools and hospitals.
