Achievements

For more than a decade, Catherine has worked tirelessly for this electorate.

Under her representation, this region has seen strong Federal Government investment in education, health, roads, community infrastructure, housing, the environment, jobs and community services.

The Ballarat electorate consists of a wide range of different communities. From the smaller rural centres in the north, west and southern regions, to towns such as Bacchus Marsh and Ballan and Daylesford, to the City of Ballarat and everywhere in between, this is a fascinating part of Australia.

One of the real privileges of my job is that I get to meet regularly and talk with a large number of people across our district.

It's my job to help ensure that families can continue to grow and flourish, and every community in the electorate can continue to be a great place to work and live.

And I'm indeed proud that in the past year alone some 400 Federal Government projects have been funded or launched across the region.
