Project Description
The redevelopment of the Doug Lindsay Recreation Reserve will involve the construction of a multi-purpose sport and recreation facility for the Creswick community. The development will create a multi-purpose sporting area for Australian Rules football, soccer, netball, cricket, and other outdoor activities as well as an indoor function area and change rooms for clubs and groups.

Benefits
This project will provide ongoing benefits for the Creswick community, allowing a number of sporting groups, the Creswick Primary School and the wider community access to an improved sports and recreation area. The venue will also be used for weekend sporting programs, training and leisure activities, and will be accessible to people with disabilities.

Funding
The development is jointly funded by the Hepburn Shire Council and the Labor Government, which is contributing $2,200,000 to the project.
